Hi, I'm Carmen
and together with my team I'm looking forward to elevating your talent!
I'm a people person through and through. My default state is endlessly curious. I try to limit my screen time as much as possible and often leave my phone at home. I view life as a grand experiment and distress as an activation energy.
Academically, I hold a Master of Science in Psychology with distinction and a Master of Engineering, Design Impact from Stanford University. My training includes mentorship under Drs. John and Julie Gottman, renowned for their groundbreaking work in relationship research and therapy, as well as coaching under Ricki J. Frankel and Mark Voorsanger.
Professionally, I’ve led strategy at Lufthansa Group and founded a consulting firm where I’ve coached and trained thousands of employees and executives on effective communication, mental health, and suicide prevention. At Stanford, I co-created and co-taught a course on human-centered AI alongside Peter Norvig and Dan Russel.
My pro-bono work includes serving as president of Stanford’s Women in Women’s Health and training University professors in the global south on human-centered design through an organization called Impact Week.
I live part time in Berlin, part time in Silicon Valley.
